Helion owner since July 2024 for long range session in Swiss Alps.
The quad is really impressive to fly.
Pros and cons :
+ Incredible stability even in windy conditions
+ Protecting upper shell
+ No battery masking the VTX antenna
+ 5V USB C power output for action cam
+ Robust frame (My quad failsafed and fell from 60m without damage)
+ GPS position is ideal (>20 GPS locked)

- No self powered buzzer
- No vertical RX antenna mount
- The front nose antenna mount is not adapted for 2.4G antenna. The antenna is being caged in the metal nose
- No access to FC USB without opening the shell
- The side led connector are too fragile
- The battery under the quad is not protected in case of hard landing

To improve the quad I added a self powered buzzer. I 3D printed landing pads.
I modified the back of the quad to support vertical antennas.
I'm using a ELRS DBR4 receiver with 4 antennas for maximum redundancy.

If the quad is in your budget, go for it!

I often fly on the island of Aruba where the winds are very strong almost all the time. The Helion is a game changer for me there! So smooth!!!

Review Update!
I beat my personal long distance record!
I have sent my helion 10 10km one way distance!! My previous record was 7km with my Chimera 7 proV2 with Tiriumph pro vtx antenna with crystal hd patch on my v2 goggles!

My battery was from Upgradeenergy Silicon anode 6s3p 12000mah liion weighing only 813g!!! I got a new one 16000mah Silicon anode liion and it gives me about 50 min of flight time ridiculous!! Helion 10 is efficient and on top of that high energy density battery you get incredible flight time!

o3 unit fcc range is 10km but somehow i went little passed 10km. I believe DJI just cuts the signal once the stated range is exeeded but i went passed 10km point.

if u love long range with decent power to fight the wind this is it. i cant wait to go flying this thing…

Most people buy the Helion 10 for long range.  I chase Offroad racers in the desert and it’s always windy when I’m working.  I needed a drone capable of dealing with heavier wind and is yet very maneuverable. The Helion 10 flys Incredibly nice.  It feels more like a 6inch quad.  This is now my “go to” drone when the winds are blowing above 20mph and I need to capture racers.

I always have longing for exploring land that no one has gone before with my drones.

I have chimera 7 pro v2 too but helion 10 is really the one.
This flies very well and it really fights well with strong wind. I flew in Jeju island in Korea where wind is reallllllly strong.
Unlike other drones, you wouldn't feel the effect of the wind (of course it is 10inch and heavy so this flying characteristic could be an inherent advantage)
6000mah lipo would give me almost 20 mins of flying time already (it can carry heavier battery with no problem)
For cruising it usually uses 13-15amp and it produces less and lower pitch prop sound which is another good point.

It would have been a bit nicer if top aero shell has a little hole for o3 link button and vertical TBS antenna holder, currently diversity nano rx option would put both of the antennas just perpendicular to each other.
Overall it is my ultimate long range drone!!!! The best!!!!!!!!!!!!!
