Description

A new version of the iFlight ELRS Receiver is available. It incorporates a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator to prevent frequency shifts caused by temperature variations, with telemetry power reaching up to 500mW. It significantly meets the reliability requirements for long-distance flights, aerial photography, or FPV freestyle maneuvers.

Features

Single-sided electronic components, saving assembly space

Aluminum heatsink plate to protect electronic components, and enhance anti-interference capability

Newly upgraded Temperature Compensated Crystal Oscillator, lower packet loss, high frequency stability

Pre-soldered SH1.0 connector (Plug&Play for easy installation with iFlight FCs)

Up to power 500mW telemetry power, resulting in stronger telemetry signals and significantly reducing instances of telemetry loss.

Performance and Compability

Make sure to install the antenna away from conductive or magnetic components (carbon, metal, motors).

Flash the latest firmware and follow the ELRS Community for updates, tutorials or contributions.

Use iFlight ELRS receivers coupled with our transmitter for maximum performance! We've probably achieved market's best crystal frequency stability at a very low frequency deviation. Please checkout this article for further information https://github.com/ExpressLRS/ExpressLRS/wiki/Crystal-Oscillator-(XO)-Frequency-Error

Band Option

The 900MHz as well as 2400MHz band have outstanding performance and long range capabilities. If you're not sure what to get, please checkout the official ELRS Long Range Competition to see what has been achieved. https://www.expresslrs.org/2.0/info/long-range/

What can you expect? Due to local regulations, the 900MHz FCC region seems to have a better performance than the 868MHz EU region. The 2400MHz band works great in any region, has a higher packet rate up to 500hz. This is not a common 2400MHz protocol and cannot be compared to anything prior on the market.

Customer: Compared with iFlight ELRS Nano RX, what are the differences of ELRS 500mW RX?
2024-03-05 17:07:45
Answer:

Telemetry Power are different :ELRS 500mW RX has high power telemetry.

The Telemetry Power of ExpressLRS Nano RX is (50mW 868/900MHz) / (17mW 2.4G),while the ELRS 500mW RX has 500mW telemetry power, with strong signal reception and anti-interference capabilities

Customer: What are the differences between iFlight ELRS 500mW RX and ELRS Diversity RX?
2024-03-05 14:43:38
Answer:

Differences:  ELRS Diversity RX supports Gemini and True Diversity modes, with better anti-interference effect and better signal reception effect

For iFlight ELRS Diversity RX:  If you need to use Gemini, you need to use a TX that supports Gemini mode at the same time.

Note: iFlight ELRS 2.4GHz Diversity RX only has 250mW power

                                                                                                                                    --------iFlight Support Team

Customer: For ELRS 500mW RX and ELRS Diversity RX, why does the 900 version not have LNA function? What does it do?
2024-03-05 14:37:52
Answer:

The chip of 900 version does not support the LNA function at the moment . For a detailed introduction to the LNA function, please refer to this tutorial:https://www.expresslrs.org/hardware/hardware-selection/.

Customer: How to choose a suitable RX?
2024-02-29 17:56:43
Answer:

1.ExpressLRS ELRS Nano RX :Smaller size, lighter and easier to install, with TCXO: adapts to drones below 5 inches: especially suitable for freestyle drones

2. iFlight 500mW  RX :  Are compatible with all drones, equipped with TCXO and 500mW telemetry power, with strong signal reception and anti-interference capabilities

3. iFlight ELRS Diversity RX :  With TCXO, adapts to drones above 5 inches, especially suitable for long range drones : supports Gemini and True Diversity modes with better anti-interference effect and better signal reception effect . If you need to use Gemini, you need to use a TX that supports Gemini mode at the same time.
